I made it a goal to apply to five places that I’m completely unqualified for by the end of the day (yesterday) and after finishing up four applications... I was exhausted and penned the above “cover letter” to blow off steam and relax a bit. I included a real resumé at the end for what it’s worth.
.And in an entirely eyebrow-raising turn of events.. The HR person responded at 5am saying she loved it, was sending it up the chain, and that she wanted to talk. That talk went well, the next did as well, and now I get to see the final boss.
And that's just the tip of the iceberg.
This has been the weirdest week of my working life.
