Yeah... as far as I can tell it is part of the air system. The coolant hole is in a much more logical location and shouldn’t need tapping as the intake adapter seals it.
So. Pissed.

To be fair even the Honda FSM doesn’t seem to go over this stuff so... boo on Honda for that.
Anyway, that just means I need to do a little better job getting the rest of the cuttings out and then... send it? I think the damage I did to the hole is only cosmetic.
