It got the bugs off easy, as promised. I would rank this as above others I have tried for bug removal, which is a big deal to me. I kill many bugs with my car, and I do not like scraping them off. I liked this product, and would buy it again. The convertible top cleaner is an unknown. My top wasn’t that dirty. We will see how the protectant does. A gap has appeared between the rear top and weather stripping that will leak significantly in the rain. This will offset the benefits of the protectant if it rains for Radwood.

The boy was unhappy that he had to wash the Subie outside the gate. He thought I should wait for him to wash his car first. Teenage entitlement is strong.

I did not like this product. It wasn’t bad, but I do not think it was more effective than regular soap. It is also very goopy which I did not like. I would not buy this product again.

I liked this product, but hated its packaging. This is like a quasi-paste liquid wax. It separates, and you have to shake it. Because it is chunky, it works very poorly in a spray bottle, meaning not at all. The spray bottle was dad safe, and I could only get it to where I could squeeze it on to a microfiber applicator while making a horrible mess. But it applied easily, and buffed up nicely. It really made the color pop, as you can see from the pic under the lights. This wax gave a really nice result, and I would buy it again in a different bottle that I can pour on an applicator. Some of you like the butter wax, and I may try it next.

After Radwood, the Sunchaser is going in for some winter work. It needs smog by January for registration, and if business ends well this year, I am going to have the paint cleaned up and a few small restoration items worked on. For the first time, I am ok with it being unavailable for periods of time in the winter because I am really enjoying the GTI, and my wife wants to take a road trip in it.
