With the SA2020 Helmets now available and my SA2010 Open-face Impact helmet looking a bit worse for wear, I’m beginning my quest for a new helmet. I’m keeping an open mind on what to get, but I’ve narrowed down the criteria:
- Must be full-face
- Must be glasses friendly, I don’t wear contacts
- Must be Snell SA2020 (because I wants the latest and greatest safety I can gets, ya hear)
- I have a large to extra-large, Eastern-European egg noggin
- Want to keep it under $1,000
I like the looks of the HJC HX-10 III Carbon as it’s got the large eye port and should be fairly light, but I have no idea what their quality is like. Any suggestions or other thoughts out there?
