Spotted this Corolla hatchback parked near the town’s pier. Lovely car, not so lovely parking spot. You see, if the driver had rolled up just a couple of feet forward s/he could avoid hanging the car’s butt over roughly half the street’s width.

The pictures don't show it well, but the street narrows from just normal width to barely wider than a rental Kia Rio Quinto at the curve. And it carries traffic in both directions. And while locals are familiar with this this spot and know to slow down and watch for incoming traffic, out-of-towners likely aren’t. And there’s a concert in town tonight.
