While driving back home from a birthday party, I came upon a vehicle accident that blocked the westbound side of the highway. It looked like a fresh accident, as we followed a fire truck on the way there from the immediately prior entrance ramp. We spent maybe 20 minutes waiting for the police, fire, EMT, and tow truck crews there to clear the scene before the police had everyone waiting there to turn around and detour back through the previous entrance ramp.
So, not that I planned to do it someday, but now I can cross off having driven the wrong way on a limited-access divided highway.
