Dropping ALMOST 40 degrees today...

I’m kind of a weather nerd and I think this is the only time I’ve ever seen us so close to a 40-degree differential in a single day (-38 degrees in about 12 hours). If you live at high altitudes and/or in the desert, 30+ degree differentials are not that uncommon. But it’s definitely surprising in a Gulf Coast climate. For comparison, winter and summer might be as little as 10 degrees, depending on humidity and cloud cover. 20 is more typical.
