Social distancing success

Another beautiful spring day in AL before the oppressive heat hits. We found a very private gully 5 minutes from home (legally...city preserve, still open) with nobody else around. The natural hydrangeas, rhododendron, and everything else (poison ivy) are all out in full force. Still, I love the geology and biodiversity of Southern Appalachia so much.

The progeny, being endangered of course because mom isn’t around. The hike into here is on a small ledge with a 15’ dropoff.
