I came across this photo while looking at pictures of 2CV’s. Without any context whatsoever, I’ve been perpetually puzzled by it all day. Why is that old lady knitting in a fancy old lady chair in the middle of a doorless 2CV while her cat hangs out behind her with a basket of yarn and a purse? And why is the old lady looking at me that way like she knows something I don’t? What the heck is going on here? Is this from some old French fairy tale? Did she remove the doors because “It’s a Jeep thing, you wouldn’t understand”? Is this an image my computer conjured from my subconscious through black magic sorcery (because honestly, I wouldn’t be surprised if weird stuff like this was going on there)? Is this a rejected character from Alice in Wonderland? What is this photo?
