Porsche designed these tractors around the same time he designed the Beetle, but after the WWII only tractor manufacturers were allowed to actually build tractors, so Porsche tractors weren’t actually built by Porsche, but they were built under license by other companies such as Mannesmann. My model features working steering (albeit with horrendous bumpsteer) and working “suspension” up front. The front tires are made from a 4x4 radar dish in the center of a 6x6 radar dish with a regular tire stretched over them to make a nice skinny tractor tire, and the chrome strip on the distinctive art-deco hood was made by cutting the border of a chrome Lego sticker sheet. The grille up front is also made with custom stickers, based on a design from a printed Lego piece.
