That is the only plausible explanation for Haas resigning Grosjean.
Guenther’s explanation does make sense. The current Haas car is junk and that can’t be blamed on the drivers.

Grosjean can be good in a good car, he hasn’t gotten 10 podiums for no reason, but he can also be a bit of a disaster, quite often.
Hopefully, even without Rich Energy sponsorship next season, the Haas cars continue with the black and gold livery. If they can’t be fast they might as well look good doing it.
