For a living I manage things and people for a company. Earlier this week I had to decide some people that needed to be let go permanently due to projected lost income from all this COVID shit. They got laid off today, word spread pretty quickly that people were let go. I just got an email resignation letter from someone that works for me.
“...it is bittersweet to leave this way. I hope that with me leaving you would be able to take someone else back.”
I don’t even know how to respond to that, and I admire the hell out them for doing this.
