Being stuck at home for weeks on end, you are left to follow multiple endless rabbit holes on the internet. Hence I wound up finally buying my first Porsche, a 2007 Cayman S in Atlas Grey with a rare Terracotta full leather interior. All the usual minor wear for a car of its’ age with 68k miles but it’s in top shape mechanically. Having gotten the bug from my dad who had two 356s in high school and college, I decided to forgo endlessly chasing the air cooled bubble and go for something more modern with even better handling. Also gave me the opportunity to finally install the Brumos plate frame I’ve had lying around for years for just such a moment. I already have a few minor projects lined up for it, plan to use it as a weekend car and autocross it with maybe an occasional track day. I’m rather excited to have it in the garage now.
