Picking up from Part 8, Small update on the pickup, spend the past week sanding and prepping all the sheet metal. With the cab now painted it was time to mask off the top and all the exterior metal to get ready to paint the firewall, cab interior, bed interior, jambs, steering column, ash tray, glove box lid and door panels. Will be loading the parts up on Tuesday to take to the paint booth. This time next weekend there will finally be some blue paint on the truck!

Once done with all the masking, worked a little on the motor. Put a fresh set of plugs in the motor. Also swapped out the big HEI distributor that was in the truck back to stock style points, also installed a new set of plug wires. Motor is just about ready done until the cab is back on the frame.
