That isn’t true though, we do have some, but both cars keep staying broken and that want to get out is MADDENING.
Fixed the O2 sensor wiring that was shorting out cause it was old and cracked. But then of course a manifold flange stud snapped and then taking the manifold out to replace them I couldn’t get the EGR tube off. Fine, I think, I’ll cut it off and replace the tube, but NO. Some monkey cross threaded the EGR tube nut so badly it pulled all the threads off.... So a new to me used manifold and EGR tube are on their way.... This stupid Corvette just won’t get finished.
Then we would take my partner’s Miata, but he doesn’t want to put the miles on it right now because we found a full tooth on the magnet for his diff and there is a sound that is likely a wheel bearing bad too. Likely caused by his now quite badly bent wheels. Something about these wheels being common in 15" but these same design in 16" bend and are uncommon special orders from some Miata site. IDK, but it sucks. 2 cars up on jack stands is no fun.
At least parts can be mailed I suppose.
