I was sitting next to this guy today while I was out for my bike ride. His engine was so loud at idle I could barely hear anything else. When he hit the throttle, it concussed my ear drums painfully. It was a sweet bike, and I might like the engine note at lower decibels, but this was excessive.
So how much engine noise is good for you? It’s fun to hear, but there must be a balance for everyone.
