Today was not that day.

First impressions: the facelift shell is a fair bit stiffer with almost no scuttle shake, there’s various small cosmetic scuffs and dints to sort, the six speed box is a lot slicker than the five speed and makes it a much better motorway cruiser. It feels more willing, but needs the suspension swapping over from the old one to shine.

It’s lived in the south east all it’s life, which has helped keep the rust at bay.

The interior needs the seats, carpets and audio swapping as well as some sound deadening. The roof is in good condition, but does seem a bit noisy.
