After a year of scouring the rural junkyards, I eventually went back and got parts off the one that was badly burned/melted. These cars are just not out there. Early models all over the place.

Knockers, unispotters, and port-a powers OH MY! The orange hood came from the burnt car. It has rot holes in the top a ton of “white lightning” bondo, in addition to being burnt.    Unable to find a serviceable hood, I picked this one up just so I had a non-crushed one to straighten the car to.  It ran once this year, and starts better than my Malibu.  Just that pesky deer hit keeping it from top down cruising glory.      That and the apparent deer hit in the exact same place sometime in the past.
