Best lap times aren't actually the "best" laps; they're the laps with the freshest tires.

So, a car that’s easy to drive fast immediately (shortest learning curve) will put down the fastest time overall. Important to keep in mind any time you’re looking at Lightning Lap or similar results. Randy was very comfortable at speed in the 918.

The P1 was a lot more work. The F70 is also “a wild ride”. Sounds like neither had a linear brake force relationship to the pressure on the pedal.
