Update, now with more metal (and less rust!)
The floor is 3/4 complete and looks like this. It’s rock solid and I’m really happy with the results so far.
I knew there was some rust under my heel but didn’t realize how much...
So... lets get that exhaust pipe out of the way!
Hey the transmission is in the way too
So why is it all rusty on the floor? How about 45 years of water leaking in this damn corner?
Must have been a friday car!
All of this means I’ll have solid floors again, no more water, and a whole bunch of new exhaust bits coming! Also get to swap the transmission I’ve been meaning to get to for a few months!
All of this started bc the hole in that muffler and my inspection sticker is up this month... have a good weekend Oppo! Happy labor day!
