I dropped my truck off at the body shop on Monday morning, hopefully it will be ready for me to pick it up this afternoon. I have been driving this 2020 Nissan Armada SL rental this week.
It is a nice enough vehicle but i do not care for it. I find it very strange that an SUV that costs $56000 feels so cheap. All the body panels feel flimsy, the doors close with a sad tinny noise, the hood shakes while driving. The 5.6 V8 makes all the right noises and is comparable in power to my 5.7 Hemi, but it just doesn’t really deliver the same performance. Oh, and in typical full size Nissan tradition, the gas milage is bad. I am on the freeway for 85% of my weekly commute, and it has not averaged better than 15.9 MPG. My RAM is normally anywhere between 17.5 and 20 for the same commute. Needless to say I am looking forward to being back in my own vehicle today.
