Interesting bit of reading I found on another thread on current events (specifically around the meat packing industry being forced to remain open, and workers getting snitched on by employers if they refuse to come back to work out of fear of illness) -
I certainly wasn’t around back then, and suspect neither were any/most of you ;) History buffs may already know this, and maybe you guys studied this in depth in history class (I didn’t go to school in the US so this is eye opening to me).
I can’t imagine how something like this would go over in the current political environment.
