Some of you may remember I had an overheat last month. I sent the oil out for analysis and it looks like there’s no clear signs of damage. I discussed it further with them via email and we determined that the high sodium was due to the brand of oil I used and not from any coolant intrusion.
The silicone should be fine with my next sample, I had an intake leak that was fixed partway through this oil cycle.
