Is clean now

Well, mostly. Gave it a quick spongebath with some car soap and now I don’t feel like I need a shower every time I touch the thing.

Unfortunately I accidentally damaged a fuel valve while cleaning and caused a leak. Had to siphon out the fuel in the tank and then removed it entirely.

The valve seems specific to the unknown bike that the tank came off (has an integrated pickup/filter that extends up into the tank) of so I’ve ordered the proper stock tank and now I can’t attempt to run it until that gets here.

I kinda like the vintage seafoam color, I think I’ll keep that for the frame and make every part that’s currently pink either cream or black, and then whatever fairing I eventually pick up will be crea.
