Over the weekend I got pulled over for a dead license plate bulb. Turns out the bulb was fine, but the contacts inside were super corroded and the bulb was getting intermittent contact. Even after scrubbing the corrosion with a wire brush I couldn’t improve it (gently shutting the trunk was enough to make it flicker on or off) so I ordered completely new housings containing LEDs off eBay.
They might be a bit too bright. I’m going to have to hit them with some of that spray on tint that bros use on their taillights.
