And I’m just wondering why Ford developed a new vehicle from scratch when they were already sitting on a Wrangler competitor. It would be a cake to federalize because it rides on a shortened version of the current Ranger’s platform. Just plop in an already EPA-approved drivetrain and make sure it passes crash testing.
