Sold my 97 avalon commuter to some one who last minute needed a car to get them back to kentucky (its birthplace). Picked up a 99 solara with a 5 speed. 160k miles. Runs great! Great toyo tires. Recent timing belt (the PO included a very pricey receipt from the toyota dealer). Everything works and no dash lights. Cat back exhaust kinda drones at 2k rpm but worth it. Paint’s rough and def had minor front end collision in its past. a little misaligned fender is all the evidence of it.
So far i love to zip it around. Reminds me of my probe gt but softer sprung.
Had to fix a bent window track on drivers window and broken door check . drivers seatback just mysteriously wont stay up lol but i can fix that.
Overall good $900 rig :).
