Counting chickens and all that

I recently passed the PE test. I don’t think I posted about it. Anywho, with it comes a raise but for dumb reasons, it technically also means a new position.

I have to apply for a new position that I currently occupy and am now considered the in-house expert for the various items I design.

Since I suck at writing resumes and some one not familiar with the whole thing runs the first filter.

So, I may not qualify for the job I currently occupy and am considered the expert in for my company.
