I enjoy the holidays to a certain extent, I don’t like flying and I don’t like feigned smiles and holding my tongue around others while they try their damndest to get a rise out of guests. I enjoy Christmas again now that I have children. But getting/giving gifts to other adults seems superfluous most of the time.
Rather, I look forward to proper snow up in the mountains for snowshoeing and what not, a short countdown to racing like the Daytona 24 hours, Rally Monte Carlo, etc. And then there’s the short jump to spring where I get to see all the results of gardening.
Yes, I’m glad all that rigmarole is over. How about you guys?
