Pretty understated for 1956. The slide levers underneath the dash are HVAC. No dash vents, but there are (not pictured) four roof vents, one above each seat. Neat.

Handbuilt, they were the most expensive American car you could buy back in the day, Dwight Eisenhower, Frank Sinatra, and Liz Taylor all had one back in the day according to Wikipedia. Don’t think I had ever seen one before in real life.
