So i was thinking about the SLX today, and I found that it was a rebadged Isuzu Trooper. Checking the Wiki, the 1991-2002 was marketed as:
- Isuzu Trooper
- Isuzu Bighorn
- Acura SLX
- Chevrolet Trooper
- Holden Jackaroo
- Holden Monterey
- Honda Horizon
- HSV Jackaroo
- Opel Monterey
- Subaru Bighorn
- Vauxhall Monterey
That’s 8 major manufacturers and 6 different names. In today’s world, we have global platforms with regional names, but I can’t think of another platform that had 8 different manufacturers badges on it. Was there another platform with more? What else is out there?
