A buddy has been looking for a crew cab work truck, since kid #2 is on the way. His brothers coworker had this 04 Lariat sitting for a while, decided he was gonna drive it to the Yukon. He started it, drove two blocks, and stalled. Went meh, guess it’s dead, I’ll just call a scrapper. Buddy’s brother says he’ll buy it for what the scrapper pays, he says sure. So yesterday they go check it out, it’s got no oil in it. They fill up the oil, starts and runs fine. I rode in it, it rides well, 4x4 works, brakes are fine, it runs well 80% of the time and runs on 6 or 7 cylinders 20% of the time. Shifts really nicely. Pretty damn good for $200 CAD.
