I think it’s just about done, and it should be good to go for another 47 years. I do need to go to the basement and find the sliding door and find out if I have enough wood to make another shelf for the left side. I would have to splice together a couple of pieces to get the correct width, and that would be a tad challenging without a table saw. I believe that there’s a cabinetry shop around the corner, so perhaps they can help me out.
Now on to the speakers, a pair of classic Tannoy Orbitus-1s my dad bought around, well, I’d guess it was about 47 years ago. No major reconstruction like the bench, just a cleaning and polishing of the wood.
