I installed Plex on the new media center PC and it’s working just fine. Yes, I’m still resentful for having to pay to use the DVR function, but my time is worth more than the $40 a year this will cost me. It’s quite nice being able to easily view my recorded TV programs on my phone and tablets. The web interface doesn’t really work all that well when sitting on the couch, but perhaps there’s an alternative. At the current time I have about one hour of experience with this software, so given a bit more time, say a day or two, I’ll get it figured out and tweaked to my needs...
