Yeah, it’s an archaic piece of technology, but when you need it, you need it. For those who don’t know what it is, it’s an adapter that lets you play VHS-C tapes, from a camcorder, in standard VHS decks. Now that I finally found my MiniDV and Digital8 camcorders, I was thinking of going back into doing video conversions as a side gig. But I’m not ready to pay $35-40 for one of these adapters. In addition, I have a co-worker that wants one in order to view videos of his late son, and I said that I would keep an eye out for one for him.
In all the years I’ve been digging around at the Goodwill Outlet I’m surprised that I haven’t been able to find one; plenty of camcorders, sure, but no adapters.
