It slices! It dices! It purées! It plays DVDs, CDs, MP3s, pictures, AVIs from disc, USB or SD card! No MKVs, and MP4s have audio but not video.
Yeah, it was a Goodwill Outlet find. I had to make a power supply; it uses 9-12V, but the connector was closer in size to what you’d find on a 5V power supply. The Li-ion battery pack is swollen and probably useless and the ribbon cable was disconnected from the laser, but that last one was an easy fix.
I haven’t looked at the specs, but the monitor is better than expected. Not HD, but that’s not surprising considering the low-end nature of this device. It also has a video input connection so it can be used for many other things. Not bad for a buck and 15 minutes...
