6:25 a.m. A Whitefish woman reported that her “soon-to-be ex-husband” was arrested overnight and she was worried about what would happen to his dog.

6:28 a.m. A deer was sitting in the middle of the road.

8:17 a.m. A Whitefish business owner reported that a man broke into the store and stole some White Claw Hard Seltzer and other alcoholic beverages.

8:32 a.m. A bear was walking around a Whitefish woman’s front yard.

10:22 a.m. A Whitefish man wanted to know how he could avoid getting parking tickets. It’s unclear what law enforcement told the man, but one suggestion might be to not park illegally.

3:32 p.m. A Whitefish dog has been “barking all the time.”

5:38 p.m. A Whitefish resident was trying to play some tunes on their phone but called 911 by mistake.

11:26 p.m. A police officer reported finding a man walking down the street with what appeared to be a stolen shopping cart. The officer confronted the man about where he got the shopping cart and the suspect immediately admitted to stealing it from a local grocery store. The officer slowly drove behind the man to ensure that he returned the shopping cart.

9:34 a.m. A woman in Eureka called 911 concerned that her husband had a warrant for his arrest. She had no idea what he could have done to deserve being arrested. Turns out it was a scam.

10:40 a.m. A Libby man learned he had won $12 million from Publisher’s Clearing House and the only thing he needed to do to get it was wire them $200. He did just that and never received the $12 million. He’s now starting to think it was a scam.

11:21 a.m. In another apparent scam, a Libby man received a call demanding that he pay the caller $1,000 or his father would get arrested. The man did not pay the $1,000.

11:37 a.m. A scammer called a Libby man demanding $1,000 or he would get arrested.

1 p.m. There was an “agitated” woman at a local store.

2:43 p.m. A dog bit a Libby man two months ago.

6:19 p.m. Someone was rummaging through dumpsters.

10:36 p.m. Someone was poaching near Libby.

8:17 a.m. A Libby resident fell and could not get up. Despite their predicament, the caller appeared to be in good spirits and was able to wait until someone could get them back on their feet.

10:01 a.m. A Libby man called to report that there was a truck with a missing wheel right in front of his business. Apparently, it had been there for a while.

2:03 p.m. Someone reported a camper without a license plate.

4 p.m. A Libby man complained that someone cut his brake lines.

9:22 p.m. A Libby man was having problems with his ex-girlfriend.

9:51 p.m. A man was sleeping in a truck and apparently another man thought that was something worth calling the cops over.
