Bought a used, trade-in 448 Baler with low count and all the bells and whistles from the local dealer. 2012 MY, less than 3000 total bales. Megawide pickup, hydraulic lift, floatation tire kit, High-Moisture kit, etc etc... If there was an option that baler could come with in 2012, this one has it.
JD offers factory finance on used equipment taken in trade at the dealership. The credit terms for 48 months were very attractive, and the offer price was very reasonable too. Significantly less than half what a new one costs, the paint’s not even worn off the pickup yet. This is my first Big Green implement... I hope I didn’t make a mistake. At least it doesn’t have any proprietary, encrypted ECU software like the tractors.
