In Happier Farm News... Baby Birds!

These are three of the four hatched goslings a friend incubated for us from our own goose eggs. The mother goose layed far too many eggs, (over 2 dozen !) so we took some away and gave them to people we know with incubators. These three are the first results, less than 24 hours out of the egg. The fourth was given to another friend to raise. We have another incubator batch expected to hatch soon, and we have heard peeps from under momma goose too, so the ones she’s setting on are starting to hatch as well. We also have a second goose laying in a second nest, she has not started sitting yet, but expect she will start soon. The chicks are not sure what to make of the giant, but still barely mobile goslings.
