When even low expectations are too high

So, I bought an inexpensive metal shed kit for the backyard. Due to limited space and wanting to avoid the city’s permit hoops I wanted something that would fit almost against the house. Due to the size restriction that created and my limited carpentry skills/wood working tools I had very few options. I probably should’ve gone with almost any other option.

A great example of the shittiness of this thing is the spring latch assemblies for the door without the handle. They intentionally give you two top latches. I need to take it apart and reverse the latch to turn it into a bottom latch.

Just in case anyone thinks I must be imagining things here’s the parts list where it calls out two latches and the assembly section that references a top and a bottom.

I’m not sure I have enough beer to finish this thing.
