But I guess mega corporations “deserve” these considerations because of all the “good” they provide our economy and we don’t want to expense society with a costly litigation. I remember a few years ago, Standard Charter Bank was caught money laundering for the Iranian government, basically a treasonous crime, and all they had to do was pay a fine. Nice.
