Did a little something last night:
Namely started my race against time to get my rust cut out and fixed before it gets too cold. I have a little bit of a mess to get sorted.
I’m hoping to get it patched in and in some good primer before the cold comes back.
Got the driver’s side patches tacked in:
The back one laid in about perfectly, just needs a quick grind, then a coat of glass, then get filled and reprimed. The door sill one is going to need some work, but it should go pretty well once I get filling on it.
The van goes in for exhaust tonight after work, so I’ll be on hold til Friday night now, but hopefully this weekend I can get the other side cut out and get the new metal tacked in:
Went to work on the passenger side last night:
Got the rust all cut out, hit everything inside with POR15, then got the new panel tacked in. Sorry about the pics, I didn’t get home til 6 last night.
Both sides are now ready to begin fill work now.
