The Highlander has been recalled.

Fuel pump issues. Covering 2017 - 2019 Highlanders and a bunch of other models.

Ours hasn’t acted up at all, but I’ll be taking it in for the repair as soon as it becomes available.

Most owners in the HL group on FB had no complaints about the recall repair except for a lingering gasoline smell after picking up their vehicles after the procedure. We’ll see if our situation ends up that way.
