Both houses of the American Congress have agreed (an achievement in and of itself) that Turkey’s 1915 genocide of its Armenian population was a genocide.
Not their president though. Oh no. His best buddy, that nice Mr Erdogan, didn’t like that. He threatened to close the American military bases in Turkey or else. That nice Mr Trump then decided to bend over for Mr Erdogan and delete the hated G word. So that’s ok then.
Mind you his predecessor was just the same.
