Three hundred and sixty-six days (yes, one day over a year) after the 307 came out, the Chevelle’s new engine has been bolted in place.
This includes the transmission, which was much harder than anything else because reasons. I am very happy to see this finally sitting in place. Next step is to torque down the long list of bolts which are snug but not tight (pretty much everything that holds the engine/trans in), then generally rebuild the whole car around the engine.
