Pittsburgh international auto show. nothing much special this year, just some quick notes:
Mitsubishi was a no- show this year. Not looking good for them.
New Corvette: Shiny, but no touchy. Bummed as if I remember correctly they had the c7 to sit in when it released.
Supra: not impressed. Given the performance envelope I expected that for the $$ the hotness must be in the interior. After all, that would be the best thing to get from the BMW partnership.
Nope. Standard Toyota interior. Seriously? I stand by my critique that it is not price competitive ( not that it is a bad car mind you)
Pushing the GF in the direction of a honda fit, or a kia soul. they have such better space utilization then typical cheapo small cars and make econo crapboxes of yesteryear look like model Ts in comparison. She agreed wholeheartedly, although she wishes she could afford something with AWD.
Side note: I am getting my GF on board with me buying a surplus humvee. XD
