Still needs some adjustment, and the rear exhaust hangers. She sounds great, but now I can hear that I have a belt slipping. The deets: pypes street pro 2.5 inch crossover exhaust (sgf11) with race pro mufflers.
Install went ok. Turns out with the oldsmobile 403 and longtube headers, the collector extension pieces are not necessary. Its a one-size adjusts to all kind of kit, which requires some cutting. My initial concern, following instructions was to shorten the x pipe to fit the mufflers. I figured I would make up any length with the extensions to the headers. Nope! Luckily it fit perfect. Needed to shorten one of the legs as the width was slightly too long.

It is amazing how effective these mufflers are considering they are a glasspack type straight through design. Supposedly these are their quietest and best flowing mufflers. Not sure why you would choose anything else, unless you like annoying neighbors. Burbly, with just the right amount of sound. And yes, I am now exhausted.
