So GM feels the need to inject nylon into their U joints for retention

On the plus side, when you take a propane torch to them, you get to watch it poop out like a play-doh fun factory. 90 degrees may be too hot for this kind of work though. U joints are out!

Some are better than others gonna take a 30 min break, then try to clean and reinstall.
