Ferrari Superamerica 45

I just learned that a coachbuilder made a one-off 599 SA Aperta with a 575 Superamerica style rotating roof.

Very cool. Quite a simple design I think, at least compared to some modern cars like the 911 Targa where the whole back of the car has to move out of the way of the roof. It’s missing the trick electrochromic part the 575 had that would change the opacity of the glass at the flip of a switch.

There’s even a vid of the roof in action. This is a cool car. Would love to see a build vid. I wonder where they got the roof panel from, perhaps cutting up some other poor 599?
