This is the road car of Brabham’s new race car - something like one of those old Le Mans Homologation specials, the CLK-GTR and the like. It’s attractive in a functional kind of way, hard to fault it for that.
One thing I didn’t know is that Brabham are part English, part Australian. I realized when the photo below shows a logo for our Commonwealth Bank, and some detective work led me to Victoria Square in Adelaide. Another shot next to a very distinctive building that appears to be made from melted cheese also led to Adelaide.
Curious since it’s common for fancy cars to never make it here, or at least never be registerable here. Many of the higher-end Ferraris are LHD only as is the 918, we know of one McLaren F1 in Australia and a handful of Veyrons, but there may be no Chirons at least not yet. To see press photos on our streets is unusual.
